Join us for the 3rd Annual Blessing of the Fleet, hosted by Kentmorr Marina, on Saturday, May 11th at 10:00 am.
The Blessing of the Fleet is a centuries-old Maritime tradition honoring the captains, crews and vessels that currently work the waters and honors and remembers those who worked the waters before us.
Watch as the charter boats receive their blessing, given by Pastor Timms, and then head out of Kentmorr Marina and into the Chesapeake Bay where fireboats from United Communities Volunteer Fire Department and Kent Island Volunteer Fire Department will deliver their blessing spray.
After the ceremony, we invite you to stay and... MEET THE FLEET! Walk the pier at Kentmorr Marina, admire the charter boats, and speak with the captains to learn more about the charter boat experience!
